Well, good suggestion to get back to the original post.  For everyone.

Now, I did remove any posts in this thread with porn in them.

Also, I did not split it as I could not figure out where the fuck to split anything. There are good comments here and some people just post to hear themselves at times.

No Sandbox either.

Everyone has different life experiences. Having had a gaggle of guys with me on multiple occasions, I know how easy it is. I once took an entire bar of boys (over 40) to bowling and disco and then to my home. They were there for the money. But, I told them in advance the rate (less than a normal night) and the plans. Not one choose not to go. Guys like to have fun as well and if they get fun and food and good company, they are then happier than they were earlier in that day.  Regardless of what anyone says, their life is not easy, it is not glorious and it is a hard life. When they have someone who is kind to them, treats them with respect and appreciates them, they do more for less. The first picture in this thread told me all I needed to know. These guys were having fun and enjoying a good time. It was easy for me to understand. But, I'm a simple man.

Damn.A whole bar!

I just had a religious crisis that quickly turned into epiphany.

I am from now on worshipping a Holly Trinity:

@tomcal from South of Rio Grande; @TotallyOz from South Asia, and @AdamSmith from NC Street Trade

It wasnt hard to see that you removed the 2 Beautiful blonde NUDE muscle boys that were standing there doing nothing but holding a blanket around them.   Funny that simple nudity is viewed as porn ?   Some would view it as ART as I am sure the photog intended.... None-the-less, that's the world we live in now, or at least the site we participate on... I find it silly but I am only the offender, not the moderator...  That section of this thread is now disjointed, but ya'll gonna have to live with it.   Sorry for making your Friday night so BUSY, Mr Oz !   But with all that deletin, you'll sleep well !!!  -_-

'Side note:  Wondering if Oz, like Daddy would permit us posting porn as a link  in a thread, where it isnt visible unless it is clicked on ?   Sometimes a hint on porn enhances a thread or a point a contributor is trying to make, or in the very least, makes the thread more "interesting"....

2010 - 2011? You missed the Golden Age of Street Trade in New York City by about 20 years. You can thank Ghouliani for the destruction of street life and club life in NYC. If you didn’t experience this, then you have no idea what a gold standard is.

Yes, no quarrel. Was a weekend visitor to the city from 1977 on. Just only became full-time resident in 2010.

What is the timeline of your relation to that splendid metropolis?

Well yes... guilty as charged. I have tried to save my share of street trade in my time, some successful, some not,  but your sweeping generalities about trade not wanting to be saved is as ignorant as your "rule" that you say applies to all  strippers, escorts, gogo boys, masseurs. sauna boys. streetwalkers, hustlers, porn stars, webcam models and all sex workers. I have no intention of even starting a conversation with someone who blindly holds such prejudicial views.

All the best...Have a great weekend ( and by all means, I will allow you the last word on this)

Sorry I hit a nerve. The need to rescue usually says more about the person trying to rescue than the Rapunzel / Damsel in Distress / Pretty Woman that the person is trying to rescue. Co-dependency is the term used in addiction circles. It’s okay. You defensively think I’m judging or attacking you, but I’m just identifying what it is. Just own it. We all have our crosses to bear.

I’m not old enough to know the glory days of the 70s, and didn’t hit NYC streets and clubs until I was a teen in the mid to late 80s. But it all pretty much came crashing down by mid-1995, when Ghouliani Disneyfied Times Square, and by the early 2000s, the West Village and surrounding hoods’ street scenes were dead.

You weren't looking very closely then. As posted here before, there is even now a pretty lively street scene in the very middle of Times Sq of 17yo loosie-cigarette hustlers eager to go home with you and sell you their cock and/or ass.

We clearly have VERY different tastes in not only trade, but men altogether. I wouldn’t do underage (or underage appearing) boys or young men.

BTW, I should’ve also mentioned that Ghouliani successfully drove out the black and Latino street scene in Manhattan and most now gentrified parts of Brooklyn and Queens. Times Square had plenty of hustler and trade spots like peep shows and gogo dancer spots that were mostly black and brown men. Although other mainstays like The Gaiety, Stella’s and Show Palace were shut down as well. The Port Authority used to be trade central, but that’s been cleaned up as well.

And as for the Village! Just go into any bar (Monster etc.) and ze rent boys be hanging from the rafters!

There aren’t anywhere near as many bars as there used to be. The Monster? Pfffft. Maybe on its Latin stripper night downstairs.

Yeah, we would never fight over men.

Girls the BELL has rung on the streetrade debate....  You should start an independent thread if the conversation is worthy of continuation.   In all fairness WE are all raining on tomcals boy parade.. This thread has been fun, but there are loads of lonely, lovely brown boys just hangin out and waiting for tomcals call to chill.....I wanna hear about those !

OH GOD,   The Monster...nothing more pathetic then a bunch of drunken old queens sitting around a piano "slurring" show tunes as the Hot young things snicker at them !

Yes, many years ago before I was into the "boys for rent" scene....   The sauna scene was quite different then.... there were hardly any boys for hire.

Side note: I may get like Daddy and just have a meltdown with all the pissy comments.

In the last 2 weeks, this site has taken up too much of my time.  And, there are a few options to relieve that stress.  But, as much as I try to be fair to everyone, shit like this really pisses me off.  So, in the end, perhaps I need to be more like Daddy.  That way, the two different groups that just keep going at each other can all fucking take a time out and the good threads like this started out to be won't be detailed by petty bullshit.

So, just so we are clear.  I'll start deleting any post which I consider only for adults. Who is the judge of that? I am.  Period. When I try to give latitude, it doesn't work. So, if need be, I'll fucking be a hard ass MF. That seems to be the only language some people understand.

OMG relax, you are running a website, not the country...None of this is that serious.... sorry but that's the truth.

All true.

I happen to enjoy the cleaned up Broadway. I don't miss the former stank of forty-deuce as I pass to see Midler in Dolly. But I wouldn't mind a return to East 53rd Street and a comeback for Cowboys and Cowgirls.

Ghouliani. Funny. What a piece of work that bitch turned out to be.

There was no glory in watching most of your friends die. And I'm talking brothers, not Facebook friends.

Not sure that message will ever resonate, but I enjoyed it.

That's a common occurrence on these escort boards. Variety is the spice of life. I like some spices more than others. I think that's human nature.

I dabbled with street trade in my early years. There were some cute, sexy, young guys working East 53rd. We were around the same age. I heard a few horror stories, but I was never party to one. Only had fun.
